In a typical year, 20 percent of Canadians experience some mental disorder. It may be the employee or someone in the employee’s family. Either way, it has a huge impact. People suffer. And distressed people are unproductive and incredibly expensive to your organization. Untreated depression costs Canada's economy as much as $14 billion a year.
